Angel Management Group’s LAX Nightclub located inside Luxor Hotel and Casino welcomed R&B icon Ginuwine as he celebrated his 42nd birthday Saturday, Oct. 13. Arriving to the night spot just after 1 a.m. the soulful artist and his entourage took their place at their VIP table located on the main stage. Shortly after his arrival the attention of the clubgoers was directed at the artist’s table as a gorgeous group of cocktail servers presented him with a two tiered, black and silver birthday cake that was suitably decorated with black music notes. Ginuwine, seen with a big smile on his face, held his cake up high for all of his fans to see.
Nearing 2 a.m. Ginuwine’s official DJ Fellin hopped on the mic and got the attention of the partygoers as he introduced the suave vocalist and welcomed him center stage. The entire nightclub soared as Ginuwine began his set with the popular hit “Hell Yeah.” The energetic singer gave his admires the ultimate mini-concert as he danced around the mega-club performing his chart toppers including “Same Ol’ G,” “So Anxious” and had his fans singing along as he serenaded a few lucky ladies with “In Those Jeans.” During his performance, the gracious soloist took a moment to talk to the crowd saying, “I love you all, I love LAX. You guys always give me love when I come out here.” He also mentioned his upcoming album with new R&B group TGT, saying he hopes to come back to perform with them and the crowd screamed as they heard the news. Just before the singer brought his set to an end DJ Fellin had the entire nightclub sing “Happy Birthday” to Ginuwine. The energy of the hot spot reached an unrivaled level as confetti flew through the air, the heartthrob jumped into the crowd and began his track “Pony.” Ginuwine ended his performance, said once last thank you and took a bow.
Ginuwine welcomed fans to take photos with him at his VIP booth and he spent the rest of his evening celebrating with friends and his admirers.
